Izim turned 18! Where has the time gone?! First Igor and now Izim – 2 young men. I stand amazed at the marvelous changes in their lives and yet I know there are hurdles for them yet to overcome. Izim wants to be an archeologist and traveling evangelist. Interesting combination you might say but he is pretty determined to do just that. He loves to read and wanted a set of encyclopedias for his 14th birthday. We gladly gave him exactly what he asked for and he read them cover to cover. The only down side was I had not read them and he decided to come ask me many very interesting questions about various things. When I didn’t know the answer the “lesson” began. It was wonderful just seeing him expand his mind and learn. He’s every teacher’s dream student! Hope the rest of our kids will also have a hunger to learn!
