What better way to celebrate Victory Day than to let the children experience some of what it’s like to be in the Army?! The kids had a fabulous time on an obstacle course and hearing “shots” fired (firecrackers) and trying to evade the “enemy.” If they by chance were “wounded” in battle the medics where there on stand-by with stretcher and bandages ready to “treat” the wounded. As we watched how the “nurses” bandaged the wounds we had some good laughs and thought that if the battle didn’t kill you the “nurses” would. It was quite an eventful day and one the kids won’t soon forget.
Along with all the great activities, they also learned some Ukraine history regarding their participation in WW2. Plus they learned what it means to honor those who served the country. You just had to be there to see all their faces as they went through the trenches and escaped from the enemy.
Hope you enjoy the photos!

Celebrating Victory Day in style!
